We all love shine... in the right places. Shiny hair, sheeny cheekbones, a glossy manicure, but when it comes to our T-zone (the forehead, nose and chin) we like that to be matte. A shiny T-zone makes us look a little, for want of a more pleasant word, sweaty. The trouble is, if you have an oily skin type (like me) then you're likely to see that shine pop up around 4 pm regardless of whether you powdered your face in the morning.  

You could add more powder but layering powder onto sebum can be a recipe for a cakey makeup disaster.
